Young Artist Fellowship

  • Early-Advanced, Advanced & Pre-professional

  • - Video recording of 2-3 contrasting pieces from different time periods that demonstrates musical and technical ability

    - Recorded Video Interview

  • Early Decision Deadline:

  • FREE - Rushmore Music Festival is a merit-based Fellowship program. Each audition-accepted student is awarded a full-tuition scholarship, which covers the entire curriculum.

  • Residential Accommodations: FREE
    Each audition-accepted student are provided accommodations in the student residence quarters on the new Festival grounds.

    Meal Plan: $750 per each 3-week session

Emerging Artists
Quartet-in-Residence

Session I & II: June 15th - July 29th, 2024 (students must attend both sessions)

  • Traditional String Quartet: 2 Violins, Viola, Cello

    Other ensemble combinations including Double Bass and Piano will also be considered.

  • 18-23 years old

  • Advanced/Pre-professional

  • Students may apply as a group or individually. The video audition includes 2-3 contrasting works in addition to the recorded interview. Please see the program page for specific details.
