Each summer, the Rushmore Music Festival presents three weekends of exhilarating concerts by the internationally acclaimed Artist Faculty who concurrently mentor the students at the Festival’s Summer Academy. Presented at the highest level of artistic excellence, the Faculty Concert Series take place in Spearfish at the Meier Hall of Black Hills State University and in Rapid City at the First Presbyterian Church. These audience-engaging concerts offer critical exposure to the musical arts for the Academy students, as well as for the local Black Hills area residents and the vibrant tourism community. Tickets may be purchased through our website, at the door, or by calling 1-800-838-3006.

The students at the Rushmore Music Festival perform in a variety of community venues through the Student Concert Series. All student concerts are free of charge, while donations to the Student Scholarship Fund are welcome and greatly appreciated.

Through the Festival’s Music for All initiative, which aims to bring music to the underserved people and communities, the Festival offers a number of concerts through the Community Concert Series, where both students and faculty offer free, outreach concerts in the Black Hills area.
